Statement Number

Relates to the total number of statements that we have sent you. This can be used to work out which statement is the most recent.

Period

The date range that the statement covers. You will only see transactions on the statement that occured within the period shown here.

Date of Issue

The month that the statement was sent to you.

Customer Reference

Your unique identification in the student finance system.

Date

The date that each transaction took place.

Description

Information about the type of each transaction on your account.

Debit

Any payments made, by us, to you or on your behalf or any interest applied to your account. Any amount shown in this column is an increase to the amount you owe us

Credit

Repayments received by us to reduce the amount you owe us. This includes repayments you have made through the tax system and any voluntary payments you may have made.

Status

Shows whether a loan is in repayment or when it is due to start being repaid.

Balance

Your overall outstanding balance at the end of the period covered by the statement
