Find out about our British Sign Language films that are available for students.

As part of our ongoing commitment to engage with our customers in an accessible format, we’ve created a new range of films to help them understand the student finance process.

Accessibility is about ensuring that everyone must be able to access and engage a range of communications and services on an equal basis, regardless of any personal disability or circumstance.

With this in mind, we’ve produced a series of new information and guidance films incorporating British Sign Language (BSL) for prospective students with hearing loss in England.

Our animated films cover a range of student finance related topics, from how to apply right through to repayment.

They’re accessible on a playlist on our YouTube channel.

We also have our ‘Ask SFE About...’ films available in BSL - they explain complex information to students such as eligibility and evidence. We’ve also produced films to explain the extra help available and what EU students are entitled to. Our Postgraduate Loan films in this series are available in a separate playlist.
