Welcome to the new issue of Exchange!

At this busy time of the academic year, we hope this issue of Exchange will provide you with the information and tools you need to help your students through their higher-education journey.

Our main article focuses on changes to student finance for academic year 2017/18, as we know how important it is for your future students to understand exactly what’s going to be available and how they can get it

Many students and practitioners alike are keen to understand when the changes to NHS bursaries are happening, so we have provided some insight into these changes thanks to a guest article from our partners at the NHS

We’ve also included some material from UCAS and the Open University, as well as information on how students actually get paid and an insight into how we process these payments.

There are lots of links to resources and guidance material for you to use and share with your students and their parents, with important information on everything from applying and eligibility to repayment and interest.
